I was born and raised here in the Madison area. I began my adulthood living in New York City where I worked in film, art and event production, and food styling, all supplemented by bartending and serving for over 10 years. All that is to say — I know what it’s like to work hard and be unsatisfied, to seek purpose but lack direction, to feel adrift and disconnected. As a midlife career changer, I completed my Masters in Social work in pursuit of a professional path more process oriented, reflective of my values, and supportive to my community. In my social work career I’ve worked on college campuses, in community clinics, and with the homeless population in Los Angeles. I’m glad to return to my roots, my family, and provide this service to my community.
