What I offer:
I provide individual psychotherapy to adults with an emphasis on exploration, collaboration, and discovery. I address a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, identity, relational trauma, family of origin challenges, women's issues, life transitions, and chronic pain and other complex medical challenges.
How I see therapeutic work:
Many people come to therapy to “fix” a particular issue. I meet my patients where they are and this is often where the journey begins. Often these are symptoms of an underlying hidden condition — that is what I aim to help you discover and tend to. One of the most powerful vehicles for discovery on this quest is through the safety and collaboration in our clinical relationship. It is crucial that you feel comfortable, at ease, like we “click.”
I work with my patients from a psychodynamic lens, this means considering how our unconscious and early life influence our behavior and perception. I aim to help my patients identify the powerful forces that shape their lives and are often hiding in plain sight. I draw from modern psychoanalytic theory, attachment, mindfulness, somatic experience and more to help you fill out the picture of what’s happening in your life. Together, we might explore personal experience, childhood, and family history and our shared experience together in the room to identify patterns, gain self-understanding, relieve suffering, and to help you feel empowered to change your life.
My training & experience:
My training as a social worker means I consider how our culture, society and systems shape our understanding and moment to moment experience. I completed the William Alanson White Institute’s Online Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program in 2023 to enhance my skills to help my patients realize their unconscious motivations and perceptions. And, as someone who lives with chronic autoimmune conditions I am familiar with the unique challenges of navigating our complicated healthcare landscape while balancing what it means to be “sick” or “well” and everything in between and beyond.
Supervision Services:
In addition to individual psychotherapy I provide psychodynamic supervision to licensed APSW’s working toward their 3000 hours. If this is you and you’re searching for a psychodynamic or psychoanalytic supervisor, please reach out via my contact form!
Values:
All are accepted in my practice. I work with compassion, curiosity, and openness toward those who identify with any race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or identity not mentioned. What I don’t yet know, I aim to learn with humility.

Is therapy right for me?
In recent years therapy has become much less stigmatized and more accessible —YAY!
This also means, there’s a lot of therapy-speak in the wild that can be confusing. Many think about therapy under a medical model, here to manage symptoms.
This is not how I operate. I’m not here to manage your behaviors or offer you a quick fix — I’m here' to support you, listen to you and truly know you.
